LISTENING - pretest

before listening test on this saturday,.

miss zu wants us to know the situation during in listening test today.. 

but before that,

there was a game

we were divided into 7 seven groups..

the game was like this:

a representative from each group have to sit in front and he/she should facing the rest of the group 

while the rest of the group gave a hint of the image on the screen

so,the representative has to guess what's on the screen..

after we played the game,the pretest started and i only got 11/15..

so sad and i must do the best in the real listening test..

when JUSTIN BIEBER meets HANTU KAK LIMAH

Wednesday as usual our class at the Dewan Sri Peria... every week we have to walk from the block C to the hall .. however,today our activity is a very fun because we are required to sit in respective groups and write essays about 'when Justin Bieber meets Hantu Kak Limah '.. we all sat in a row and then miss zu want each group to write an essay on the topic have been given ..
I am the first person to write an essay that .. I do not know want to write .. so I design own story .. after 10 minutes, miss zu asked me to give the assay to the next person to complete the essay  .. we need to change person to complete an essay every 10 minutes .. after completion, I represent my team to read the essay that we writeour story .. even illogical, but all entertained and I feel very satisfied...

adjectives

today i have learned about an adjective..but before starting our lessons,miss zu called imran to become a model..miss zu want us to describe imran..after that,we started our lessons about an adjectives..

adjectives are words that describes another person or thing in the sentence

after that,miss zu wanted us to write a poem about respective partner and my partner is hafiz...

the debate

after have a nice holiday,we came back to start our lesson in class..today is Monday..as we know,every monday we got the task to speak front in class..so miss zu was divided us into 4 groups..she wants us to debate in front about "the important of baby hatch" and "harimau malaya football team will qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil?"

the first title was presented with amin's group as a opposition and hafiz's group as a proposer..hafiz said baby hatch is important because it can avoid the babies from the attack of animals or any danger..beside that,baby hatch can decreasing the abandonment..
while,amin said,baby hatch was waste the government money to build it..


the second title was presented with my group and afiq's group..my group as a proposer and afiq's group as a opposition..darwina and haziq was represented my group to debate with afiq and mel..darwina said,harimau malaya football team will qualify for the 2014 world cup because as we know,malaysia have many good player and one of them was playing overseas at indonesia..
but mel disagree with darwina because she felt malaysia football team only eligible to play in minor league..just look at the game with singapore,malaysia lost..whereas,singapore only a small country compared to malaysia..
this session takes a very long time because do not want to give up until miss zu ask them to stop..


i am very happy to saw them debate and i felt very envious of their eloquent speaking in english...so i will strive to be like them..

topic sentence

Before writing any essay or even a paragraph, it is important to think, first about the topic and then what you want to sayabout the topic.  Most often, the topic is easy, but the question then turns to what you want to say about the topic which is the controlling idea.  Topic sentences should always contain both 


(1) a topic and 
(2) a controlling idea.

bel musical

today was the different session where we have to create a short musical..miss zu was gave each group an extract from a newspaper and we have to act on the topic mention ..my group got the topic of blood donation..here are plot of our story..the song we used are "marry you" and "greenade" from bruno mars..

today is sunday..

fizhan and me want to go to play futsal..

fizhan was drove and he drive very fast until he was hit a young boy..

a young boy was injured and he angry to us..

then we sent him to hospital and the doctor said he lost some of blood in his body..

so we check my blood group first..

then my blood is suitable to donate to him..

lastly a boy become stable..

today we learned on how to write introductory paragraph..
this lesson was the continuation of the thesis statement class...
i wonder there is various type of introductory paragraph..
as been explained by miss zu also..
the introductory paragraph is the hook in attract reader to read the whole essay..
as to see our understanding in writing introductory paragraph..
we asked to write on it in group..
my group have to write about homosexual..
then we will present in front to all students in my class..

goodbye friends

today as we have our speaking we were given task to be act in front..but before that,we were given handout on way to say goodbye of different country to be answer..

After I done the task,Miss Zu divided us into 16 groups and each group have 2 students..my partner is Haziq and we acted a scene where are two best friends in a prison will separate..Haziq was released from prison and me still there..so Haziq said gudbye to me because he want to build a new life after release from prison..

writing lesson

Today I learned to make a good writing in essay..We should have the introducion,the body essay and the conclusion..In the introduction,we should have the general statement an thesis statement..A good thesis statement must link with the general statement and have subpoint...


Here are the key feature considered when writing thesis statement:

• states the main idea in complete sentences
• not in questions sentences
• its usually at the end of an introduction
• states an opinion or attitude on a topic
• often lists subtopics
• does not directly announce the main topic

prewriting technique

Today I learned the proper technique.
There are:                

              1) brainstorming 

              2) clustering 

              3) freewriting and 

              4) quick writing..

Before this, I just write the essay without use the technique because I think its can be late when I use the technique..Now I realize that use the technique is better than I just write the essay with my way..

The Noun Lesson

Today we have learn about noun..I like to learn about noun because my grammar is very weak..Before we learned about noun,Miss Zu gave us some tests..I'm very shock when I just got 1/10..My grammar was very bad and I felt so embarrassed as a university student..So I must do something for improve my grammar..

P.Ramlee : THE NEW VERSION

Hurrmmm..Today is Monday and I felt very tired because today I had 4 class and Bel's class was the last class..A few minutes later,Miss Zu entered my class and gave us some task to present in front of all student in my class..Everyone was shocked that we are asked to imitate any scene from any P.Ramlee's movies..we divided into 6 groups and each group have 6 or 7 students..My group was chose scene in Do Re Mi movie where Do and his wife was cheat their parents to get some money to pay the debt..Everyone enjoy with the activity and the best group I chose is Haziq's group.. 

First lesson

nothing was best today..but today i do learn about something new..Reading Skills..and because of i do nothing best to share to all of you today..i just want to share about what i've gain today..

                    Scanning Technique  

• this is a selective reading skill to locate facts and answer to specific question
• to save time you do not need to read every word on the pages
• you can scan a timetable, pages of a dictionary, charts, table etc

Skimming Technique

• reading this is a reading skill employed to obtain hte general idea of a text, to fing out the writers point of view and to see how the content in a passage are arranged
• when a text or a passage is too long and we have limited time, we use this technique
• when skimming, look for key words and phrases, the heading or subheading for the general idea of the passage

today, i also learn many new word but i do attract to the word ' bibliophobia ' which is fear of book..i think that i'm not a bibliophobian because i do love book and read..

Ice Breaking

today was ice breaking session..I will introduce my partner,Ikhwan..I need to introduce whatever about him to class n give out three facts that two was the truth and another was a fake..I'm very happy when I found the truth about Siti and her partner,Mai..after i found the truth about them,miss Zu call me and my partner to present..Ikhwan introduce about me and I introduce about him..after we done with the presentation,no one in my class tried to find the truth about that..so bored when they just ignore our presentation .

my first class

Today is my first class, BEL 120..It is very hard to my friends and me as we are new students here and we're do not know about the situation in bel's class..The hardest is want to find the location of SRI PERIA HALL..My friends and I confused because the location at sector C and most of the students is girls..But we just go to the location and finally we get it even I felt shy..After I enter the hall,I in dilemma who will teach me this subject???..Either she/he is sporting or not..A few minutes later,she enter the hall and introduce herself to us and also she told us that she is the lecturer who teach me in my class..So, the fist assignment I got is I need to introduce my partner to the class..my partner is ABE..
